Hey guys, this might have been asked already on Topliners but I could not find the thread if it has. One super annoying component of Dynamic and Shared Content is the saving functionality. When you click save, it closes the window. This might not seem too bad on the outside but when you want to "save early and often", especially on a large, detailed content item, it's super un-fun to have to click save, wait for Eloqua to save and close the window, then find and select your item again and open it back up to continue your work.
This issue really exposes itself when you have, say, over 100 dynamic content rules/items in one DC and you're going through changing out content on each of them. It's especially fun when you get half way through the thing and Firefox crashes and you loose the last 30 minutes of work because you didn't save - and you didn't save because you didn't want the window to close.
Whew, done venting. Thanks for hanging with me there. So here's my feature request idea:
Break the Save button into two buttons:
Save and Continue | Save and Close
With the obvious result of Save and Continue being that it saves your work, while keeping your window open.
What do you guys think? Good idea or am I totally off base here?
