When you update to Eloqua10 from Eloqua9, archived and expired assets are not included in the update. If you would like to un-expire any of marketing assets prior to your update, you can do so by following the steps below.

Please be aware that once migrated you will get a dependency error when trying to delete an asset that is associated to an archived asset. If this happens after the migration you will not be able to delete that asset. 

 

AssetHow to Unexpire
Emails

Navigate to Communicate> Email Marketing> Email, and select the email group containing the email you wish to un-archive/un-expire

Click Options> Manage Expired Emails.  You will be presented with a list of all expired emails in the email group.

Click the arrow next to the email you wish to un-expire and select "Un-Expire Email"

Distribution Lists

Navigate to Communicate> Email Marketing> Email> Lists, and select the distribution list group containing the distribution lists that you wish to un-archive/un-expire

Click on the arrow left of the "Email Distribution Lists" root folder and select "View Expired Lists"

Click the arrow next to the distribution list you wish to unexpire and select "Un-Expire List"

Forms

Navigate to Automate> Forms, and select the form group containing the forms you wish to un-archive/un-expire

Click on the arrow left of the "Forms" root folder and select "View Expired Forms"

Click the arrow next to the form you wish to unexpire and select "Un-Expire Form"

Using the All Assets Report

To get a file with all of your expired & archived assets you can run the All Assets Report and filter on the Excel file.

Navigate to Evaluate > Report Admin and find your user under "Agents"

Click on the "Updates and Alerts" option in the top right corner and choose "New Scheduled Report Export"

Under "Source" choose "Export-Only Report" and then choose the "All Assets" report

Choose a schedule or hit Save and run the report.
